2nd time I have been to Bucketts when visiting the in-laws. Last time was 2 years ago. Not much has changed. While what is seemingly a short staff, we received pretty good service. They did mess up my daughter's order but quickly fixed it. My wife had the Philly and said it was great. My daughters both liked the chicken tenders and pizza. I had an order of hot wings. I got them"hot" which most places isn't a big deal. Hot at Bucketts means hot and then some. Personally, I found them a bit overpowering; but that is how you learn. I love hot food but don't care for it much when the heat takes away from the overall flavor of the dish. I did manage to eat half my order before my mouth hurt too much. We also had an order of fried mushrooms that were very good as well. I will be back to Bucketts at some point with my family. Next time I will remember one word - medium.

This place is great!! Awesome atmosphere, great service, and fun times!! The wings are amazing, even though I can't do spice, I couldn't stop eating them. If you're looking for a burger, the Jimmy Burger is SO GOOD, I wouldn't even let my husband have any. ;) The new owners are SO FUN, and have definitely taken it back to its old roots of a good time with great food. They also try new beers, which we love.

The wings are even better now. They were good, but the new owners have mad a difference where it mayters. Craft beer on tap also, awesome. If you are looking for chain, tidy, same old wings there are others in the area. Pizza is fresh and tasty and they are back to excellent food and cold beer. YAY!

Awesome local wing place and great hangout. The wings and the sauces they use are the best. The staff is always friendly and ready to have the smile ready! Eat in or order to go, the food is always fresh and hot.

Nothing special here. The food is run of the mill. The service is inconsistent. The place needs remodeling and cleaning up. Bathrooms not very sanitary. Much better sports bars in town.

Tried this place out because it's been in Ft Myers forever it seems. My wife and I were seated pretty quick. However, the service was almost non existent. I had to wait almost twenty minutes to order. I ordered a burger and so did my wife. Both of our burgers had cold buns that were just thawed out. We complained to our waitress about it and we were told "sorry" they were just taken out of the fridge and didn't have enough time to thaw out. I paid for cold thawed out burgers..... I would avoid this place. Service is horrible, place looks like a dump with trash everywhere on the floor and they serve thawed out food... How this place is still open is beyond me.....

Its definitely trending up due to change in ownership..Good atmosphere with tvs throughout restaurant..service is usually pretty good, same girls been there forever..highly recommend the patty melt! Chicken strips are decent and the beer is usually cold..Looking for a good place to watch a game with an above average menu this is a good place

Met my wife and son here for lunch, I got there first and was waited on promptly even had the waitress check on me but when my wife and son arrived they sat and waited 20 minutes with out even getting a drink order placed, I watched who was my waitress checking on other tables and texting on her phone at the bar and I could not get her attention without making a scene so we just left after paying for my beer, won't go back

Well I had quite the interesting experience at Bucketts for the first time tonight and only for carry out thank goodness. When I first came in two of the waitresses/bartenders were sitting in the first booth on the left - no one greeted me or asked if I needed a seat, takeout, etc. All there were was 10 or so clearly over served older men who heckled me as I struggled to get the attention of one bartender/waitress. I think I stood there for about 5 minutes after they passed me multiple times. Finally one of them asked if I needed help and I told them I just hd a takeout order. She then took my card and was gone somewhere with it for about another 5 - 10 minutes. In the interim two other bartenders took some shots behind the bar and the one I had given my card to was now organizing a group photo with all the drunken old men. At the same time they were shouting something to the nature that they all hate the kitchen staff or something. Nice... After about 15 minutes of standing around I finally got my order which was sitting at the window the whole time and I could have just have easily left $30 on the counter, helped myself and walked out. Service would have been much better that way. The place is a mess. Peanuts everywhere - which is fine if you're going for a dive bar look - but I didn't get that vibe, it just looks dirty. Paper napkins, straws, and just trash all over the ground. Not to mention fruit flies floating around the bar. Again, I love dive bars but this is not the look they appear to be really going for. The place is again, a hot mess. The food. Well we tried to wings and they are anything beyond memorable. Overcooked, no flavor. I got the medium and my wife order garlic Parmesan - definitely would never go back. I think they may have been a little old because the meat tasted sour. The cole slaw - wow this tasted a day or two old and was sour as well. I know amazing cole slaw and my wife and I both wouldn't even touch this and spit it out and pitched the rest. I hope the new owners are aware of the issues here. They appear to be mostly staff related. I just can't believe the staff sit around, take selfies and do shots while people are waiting to give them money and potentially tip them. Let alone stealing time and product from the bar. I almost always tip when I carry out but not a chance here - I was sorry to bother them. Very unfortunate that even under new ownership it doesn't appeared to have positively influence the staff. Which is funny because the sign out front even says "new management but same girls" - yikes. If these girls are the cornerstone of service and what they choose to advertise, the bar is set quite low. The website is a complete misrepresentation. It shows kids, pizza and a family atmosphere. There is no way I'd ever bring my son here. Total misrepresentation. What's even more ironic is that the bar has signs all over it saying how bad the service is as if it is funny. And how they basically encourage over serving guests and service and food is so poor. These tacky signs are everywhere. I would highly recommend someone from management watch an episode of Bar Rescue or get Jon Taffer's book. I remember coming here many years ago with my family back in the day. Today it's just a bar/restaurant with no identity, touting terrible service, and mediocre food at best.

Great atmosphere! I remember this place last summer and it has completely gone thru a 180. Was completely packed on a Wednesday afternoon! Was pleasantly surprised by how good the wings were because I'm a huge wing junkie and am hard to please. Definitely recommend the Flamingo wings! Right amount of spice and sweetness. Looking forward to making a couple more trips back before we head home.

The food was nothing special and the service was terrible. We went for lunch at like 2pm and the servers were more concerned with chit chatting at the counter with regulars than serving us and refilling drinks. Had to actually get up from booth and pay tab as we grew tired of waiting for her to bring us our check.

Good wings, hamburgers, cheesesteak and a very good fish sandwich. Nice little sports bar. Need to get some extra help in this place. One kitchen cook is not enough and one waitress is ridiculous. Very slow service

We went here because we saw it was a Green Bay Packer bar and boy was it. What was nice is that they had one game on one half of the room and another game on the other half of the room. They have good pub grub and specials. What surpised me was that this bar only has beer and wine, no alcohol. We will certainly go back to watch future Packer games.

New owners, new prices, menu changes. Beer still cold. Cleaned up the place a bit. Must have taken a hit with the new sport's bar down the road.

When we arrived in Ft. Myers and we all went hear because of the TV's to watch a football game. This place is great for Green Bay Packers fans. Me and the rest of my family ordered nachos for a appetizer we could've all shared one way to much for a one couple to eat. The real problem with this place is the chicken wings are dry and little. Also when we found out beer is 3.25 a bottle that was a real turn off.

I love their wings. Hot is not that hot for some people . They have great burgers as well. 1/2 lb of beef. This is not a fancy place. Its a fairly old sports bar but the food is great. They have very inexpensive food and good size portions.

Zero stars this place is the worst ever? Good wings? Garbage rubin was old as well as the French dip sandwich! YUCK! I puked as soon as I walked out! This is food that dogs shouldn't eat! And I found .22 casings in the damn seat! Disgusting establishment they need to clean the freaking floors and all the walls dirty tables everywhere etc. YOU EAT THERE EXPECT FOOD to make you SICK TO TOUR GUT! EITHER THAT OR YOU JUST LIKE SLOP!!!

I walked in to see what they had and pick up a menu. I didn't stay to eat, but possibly will the next time. Prices seemed reasonable, and the games couldn't have been the reason it was packed... or may be it was! It was a smallish place, several TVs behind the bar, all tuned to different NFL/ football games. I think this is the first pub that I've seen in a while that still has a cigarette dispenser ($7 / pack).

New ownership is terrible. The once friendly and local atmosphere is now what would wish to be something that it is not. Seemed like a restaurant trying to be something they are not.

Food is nasty, barely edible. French dip with Swiss had small slice fake cheese which looked like white American, Reuben had fake meat, wings were old and "funny" tasting. And I love wings, but not here. Ewe. Place is dirty, atmosphere very "good old boy". Btw she'll casings found in seat.

If you are looking for a quick and cheap lunch then stop by Bucketts. They have decent wings, great sauces, and other delicious menu items. Their menu is not very large, but has all of the typical bar food you could ask for. Their sandwiches and even their seafood are tasty and very cheap!

The last time I ate at Bucketts was 11/09. We had eaten there a few times before and really enjoyed their chicken wings. This time I was really disappointed. The chicken wings were VERY VERY small and tasted as though they had been cooked early in the day and then reheated. They were terrible-- but since I had guests I didn't complain. However if I were the owner I would have been ashamed to serve food like this!
